The missus car keeps going in to limp mode.its a MK4 2.0 tdci 140 0n 2010 plate. Iv had it on forscan and it said actuator stuck. So I jacked it up and freed it off with a pry bar and ran some turbo cleaner through it. Was fine for a month now keeps coming back more frequently. So iv ordered a turbo and a fitting gaskets. Has the metal gasket with the 3 stud holes the one for the oil feed and 2 cooper washers on the looks of it.
I was wondering what else I need to replace in Haynes it mentions replacing the banjo bolt and filter. Do I need to do this or just clean it out break cleaner.
Would like any advice on anything else I need to order with part numbers would be great help
Also any tips from any one else already changed a turbo already on one of these
Thanks in advance

If you do not replace it make sure you clean it and add some threadlock to

help it seal.  Possible risk of an oil leak if you reuse them, if its all clean and

no gouges from the washers then new washers should fill the gaps.

Filter is sold on its own, almost £20 but looks like it will be very hard to clean

if at all.  Looks like a woven mesh from the pictures.

If replacing the turbo, I would replace the oil feed pipe as a lot of turbo suppliers like to reject a warranty claim due to incorrect fitting. Banjo bolt filter also a good idea..

If it’s a Euro 5 engine, (facelift engine) then good luck fitting it as that’s abit of a pain in the rear...

I ordered the bits I put the codes of. I spent today just getting the turbo off. It's a MK4 the older Citroen/Peugeot engine and it's a right pain in the rear aswell feel like iv.been at the gym. Tomorrow the new turbo is going on
