Hi another question.

The previous owner told me that the aircon does not perform as it should and started to explain that the aircon clutch was not enaging, and that the remedy was to remove a washer from the clutch to free it up.

Now im not that knowlegable when it comes to aircon but i have never heard of this before.

Any help or ideas welcome.

Im not that bothered about it just curious if it maybe an easy fix lol, aircon in my day was having the windows open haha

Hi

There is a preset gap that allows clutch to function and this can sometimes be adjusted by fitting a different thickness washer. Can you view clutch to see if it is operating.

Usually when system fails to operate correctly it is down to gas leak and drop in pressure to below minimum required.
