Few problems on my 2009 Ford fiesta Zetec s 1.6 diesel

Indicators not working, noise of clicking in car at approx twice speed

Hazards not working

brake lights work when no lights on, when lights on (which appear to be as bright as the brake lights) no change in brightness when pedal pressed.

Car has been stood during 2020 and battery went flat, jump started the car which i have been informed is not recommended.

Have fitted new battery now.

have checked fuses and all look good.

If not an easy fix, can anyone recommend a auto electrician close to Portsmouth/Southampton  ?

Unfortunately can't recommend an auto electrician but I'm pretty confident you body control module (bcm) is faulty. It lives behind the glovebox, if you can try and get a picture of the part number on it and post it because I have a spare bcm then you can program yourself using forscan

had a leak in boot from rear light unit as somehow the grommet mounts had disappeared (don't know how as had car from new) but dried out and ok now

Bit the bullet and took it to a local auto electrician

 

found a bad earth going to the rear light unit

 

All sorted now, thanks for all the reply's

 

now for the MOT
