HI, I have a 2017 KA+. When the headlights are on the dashboard instrument cluster is nice and bright. There is no adjuster that I can see. However during the day when headlights or sidelights are not on, there is no illumination at all. On a dim day this is really dangerous as I cant see my speedometer or anything on instrument cluster. Surely this cannot be right. As far as I can remember I've never owned a car where there is no illumination at all. Can anyone shed any light on the matter? ( sorry for the pun)

Thanks in anticipation.

Edited your title to include MK3, sent a message to the admin to say we need a MK3 section.

On your issue though, I have never owned a car that illuminated the dials with the headlights

in the off position.

Standard dials or a digital display?  Seen some road test videos and can see the speedo in

those quite clearly with standard dials.
