Hi peeps
Just had a look at my alternator belt and it’s history, just ordered a gates one,,
My question is do you need to remove the tensioner to fit the new one ?? I’ve got the releasing tool bar thing but I know it runs in/out/under/over every pully around the engine 😂😂,,, can it be slipped on do things need to come off or loosen
Thanks gents

I'm pretty certain that the alternator has to be removed... 🤔

Cheers mate,,, I know the alternator had to be removed for fitting the tensioner I was just kinda hoping the belt could be slipped in and around hahahaha. Well that’s my worst fear coming to bite me in the bottom. Take it all apart again,,, new gates belt ordered though
