i've bought loads, some are thicker than others, i've got a box of my favorite ones in the garage so the next time i'm out there i'll take some snaps


mk3 mondeo ghia x estate 2.0 auto with:

362mm 6 pot ap stoppers lurking behind some 8 x 18 comps
tv fitted to facelifted dash + headrest screens for both kids
full st kit + powerfolds w/puddlelights with jp stainless exhaust
shonky n/s/f rattle fixed by totd whoopie!
most of the chrome bits done

Used to get them from the carboot for £1 or £2 a box.  That was before the news about

some people scamming the NHS by ordering things like gloves but they never receive them.

 

After that was all over the news the really cheap ones dried up quickly.

Yes, the latex gloves for any thing I do on the car are a waste of money; may be only good for Covid related issues.

 

Working on the injectors today and the diesel just melts them.

Heads up on a time critical thing. After the end of the month, the gov are reimposing 20% tax on PPE, so stock up now.

No need to worry; the Chinese have found a work- around.  They will reduce the price by 20% and reduce the quality to compensate.  Now the gloves will built-in disassembly and dissolving issues even faster.

Slick! If you've got a Cromwell Tools near you, they do some black nitrile gloves with nice long cuffs, that I'm using alongside Ed China's, which also have nice long cuffs.
