Hi I have a 2015 mk5 Mondeo with the Sony sync 2 system fitted but the Bluetooth module on it has died somehow, I have reset and done all the usual things but nothing has worked so was wondering if I bought a 2nd hand one as a new one is crazy money from Ford would it need to be programmed into my car or is the APIM unit just a straight swap once removed from the car and the back of the touch screen unit? Please help as I'm getting rather annoyed at having to sit my phone on the actual screen to get any sort of Bluetooth connection because if I move my phone or any other phone anywhere else it won't work. Thanks for any help and I dont have the luxury of Forscan either
