Have you got waterless coolant in the car? If not, to put waterless coolant into an engine is a bit more complicated than you think

plus it will be expensive.

If you just want to change the (conventional red) coolant it will simply mean emptying the old out and refilling with new: and a lot less expensive too As in

I'm sure there will be more suggestions.

I bought Super Longlife Red Concentrate by Comma for my 2015 2.0 TDCI which meets ford spec of WSS-M97B44-D.

Does the 1.6 tdci use the same specification as the 2.0?

Coolants are very weird - you can’t go just by the colour anymore, there are so many different additive packs.

Mondeo Mk5 | TDCI 150 Titanium 2015 | 46k miles

Mondeo Mk3 | TDCI 130 LX | 2005 | 230k miles - SOLD  :)

C-Max Mk1 | 1.8 Duratec HE Ghia | 2006 | 140 k miles - RIP
