Hello, I have 2015 mondeo with Sync2. I got music on USB stick with all metadata that are necessary.  In browse menu I can find my album and I can see all songs in proper order by song order metadata. But when I select first one, album is played in alphabetical order. I cannot find any setting and only workaround I could find is to name songs and with order number in name.

Most of the mp3 files I have were ripped from cd’s via either Sony or Microsoft programs, these have always added numbers in front of track names. Any albums I obtained in other ways ( usually off YouTube) I have just edited listing to add any info not found by Windows Media Player. I believe this may be the only way that system will play in sequence and if memory serves me correctly. Where necessary I had to add a zero in front of tracks 1 to 9 to become 01 to 09.

 

When searching to fill in gaps on older music have often found buying a secondhand CD from either Amazon or eBay then ripping to mp3 works out much cheaper than downloading as individual tracks.

I had the same issue - easiest fix is to use mp3tag (free) to rename the mp3s and give them track number prefixes. It is actually pretty quick and easy to do as a batch.
