Hi

I have a 2011 1.6 tdci that's experiencing intermittent power loss 5-20 mins after starting. Fault code p062d is occurring which is cylinder 1.

I suspect its an intermittent electrical connection to this injector associated with the wiring loom but realise  it could be the injector itself either.

Is there a way to test before I buy anything?

Thanks in advnace

Cleanup the connectors with some contact cleaner and plug it in

and out a few times whilst spraying it with the contact cleaner.

If that fails try a known good used injector, or swap the injector from cylinder 1 to 2

and see if the fault moves with the injector or stays with the cylinder.
