I'm sure this has been asked before, but, I felt extravagant last year and put Castrol magnet full synthetic oil in my 2006 Focus, now it needs changing again, and I don't feel so extravagant now, so is it OK to put semi Synthetic oil in. I have heard, once you put fully synthetic oil in, you have to keep to it, any advice would be really welcome. Thanks in anticipation,

This is the bit that answers your question

"If synthetic oil is too expensive, go with a blend or rotate between a full synthetic and non-full synthetic every other oil change. Changing car oil will not damage your vehicle. Keep a record to remember the mileage, next oil change date, and type of oil."
