They should not let anyone design a car until they have stripped one thats a few years old
and seen what stupid designs have been used in the past.

I think the MK3 rear calipers just needed a better seal arrangement. Plenty of cars out there
where the rear calipers are not as prone to sticking.

My MK4.5 2L diesel only Β£30 tax also. But i miss my 2.2..

Rear caliper's on the mondog working perfectly, handbrake locks the wheel on 4th click,on the rover it's barely holding at full click's...

Well here it is, mondeo will be uninsured as of tomorrow. Can't help but feel the joy of this new car is only shadowed by sadness of letting the mondeo go

That looks like one if the rare ones, almost all the ones I see have open bonnets or wheels off for repairs ;)

Haha I'm just hoping it's not on axle stands as much as the mondeo has been over these 5 years πŸ˜‚ or yours for that matter lol

Ben,

Nice looking car, hope it fulfils your needs.

I’m going to stick with the Mondy, still needs work, a lot of work and at times will require axle stands !

I have this sort of passion, same as my my brother Macmondy, to keep these cars on the road.

Don’t leave this forum as we still need your advice and knowledge.

My best regards

Still can't think of what to do with the mondeo just yet, need to build some trust with the audi yet.

I would like to sell it whole to keep it on the road but if I break it I'll be keeping various other mondeos on the road.

I'll still be knocking around the forum (mainly because it's my homepage πŸ˜‚) maybe in time I'll revert back to Ford but we've got to explore different paths.

My mk3 loves axle stands. :)

I was sorting through my various stands yesterday ready for the car to be back up on them within a week or so :)
