Good point on refurbing the felt, mine has white stains around the edge's,do you have to renew the felt fasteners, they are plastic push in type thingies..
Summer months i put that engine cover in the shed on a nail on the wall, not a bad looking cover and that speaker like thing over the coil pack...err...unique...
Hope i spelt that right as my spelling is abysmal.Apparently..

The fasteners are barbed push fit from memory.

I use a plastic forked trim tool to remove them.

The white stains are common, I give the felt a light rub with a damp cleaning cloth, then use black spray dye on the insulator to get it looking all black again.

You can put your vehicle info at the bottom of your posts to give details to help others know what you drive :)

I'd say the bonnet liner is to keep engine heat from the metal bonnet. If the liner wasn't there then imagine how hot the bonnet would be.
Hope your dog passed its MOT. Looks like you feed it well.

I've got to be strict with her concerning her weight, about a month ago she weighed in at 10.3kg..she should be 7.5 to 8.0 kg...it's pitiful, she is into my coffee, goes nut's if i have a beef&mustard nudger, and have to feed my 2 cat's on shelve's and ledge's...so she is on a doggy diet.
I walk her every evening, have done all her life, though have occasionally missed the odd day, that has been down to foul weather with her being so close to the floor her undercarriage get really soaked and dirty in a downpour...
Usually 1 feed after walking, 1 pouch of chum and some expensive purina biccies,
and a dentestix once a day...all them titbits have stopped so she seem's a bit more active for it..
Her mammary tumour will hopefully be removed the end of august, it's not bothering her at the present time though, she act's half her age...some character, had a go at a husky outside the house the other day,had to physically grab them, me and the other owner did laugh about it though.

Better company than my nagging old "EX'...Vet commented on her strong heartbeat and energy all thing's considered..So back to her nutty self again..a6b031f796b0940e0a6584c661b1a696.jpg37822f3607ee5d86f3ef6d72232db8e5.jpg
