Normally from the Ford Parts department but I suspect they may closed now due to the current situation.

Part number is 1386502 see here http://www.catcar.in...TYxOTQzKzEzMw==

You can find them on ebay or try your local motor factors if they are open.

It would not stop me from doing the job.
It is very rare that the washer needs replacing

I did mine last year and didn't replace the washer.
I haven't had any leaks from it.

My 18yr old sump plug has never had a washer or change of plug no leaks,

just tightened to right torque each time.

Ah thanks for that. The youtube video i watched said it was a 17mm socket but that link says its M18. Looks like eurocarparts sell a replacement m18 plug and washer.

Just been browsing the forum and I saw an older post which said that 0W40 was the right oil for the 2.5T but all lookup sites seem to show 5W30?

Can i do better than this one for £27 per 4 litres?

Have you tried eBay, there are a lot of sellers that sell the genuine Ford Castrol oil. 5-30w is the correct spec.
It should be WSS-M2C913-C or D which I think is for diesels.
If you Google the numbers it will tell what you need.

Thanks I did check ebay but prices seem higher than ECP with their discount codes, plus I can't collect it.

The Castrol Magnatec Stop Start meets the 913-c requirement according to its description.
