I have a 68 plate 1.5 litre Diesel Kuga with less than 10,000 miles on the clock when i select demist function the temp gauge slowly goes from the normal mid position to near zero, all other heater functions are normal. My ford dealership says this is normal is this true. Just got the car 2 weeks ago i am the 2nd owner.

I'd say that is far from normal. If you're still getting hot air from the vents when it does it then it's possibly an electrical problem. If the vents start blowing cold when the gauge drops then I'd say it's something far more serious. If you have another dealer you can try that would be a good place to start.
