also this is my oid cat, looks very plugged up with grey white powder,have been told the cat monolith has broken down??

Just fitted new Cat pasted the gaskets and turned engine on it did same dripping water out washing the paste out with it. d24df9619e50d6d0d9f2f9d13b4f8da4.jpg

my gasketts are ok,this water is coming from the seem of the back box,dont know if its meant to do that from the seem>> thought they might have been a drain hole dont put exhaust paste before the cat.

Pasted the old flexi to make sure of no leaks, I should have let paste dry but wanted to test for leaks,hopefully the paste is blown

out rather than sucked into the Cat.

apprantly the fumes from the paste are toxic to the cat, it kills it so no paste what soever before the cat that includes the flexi

the water dropletts on the seems have stopped now wierd,if you clean the paste off the flexi and cat might get away with it,with it being a new cat,a fitting kit came with my cat so used new gaskett and new bolts.

Will have to take off and clean up as i need to sort the P0141 o2-sensor.

I have spare set of gaskets n bolts seller stated fitting kit not included but it was.
