Hi all I have just bought a mk5 escort 1.6 efi and the temp gauge is not working

Looking under the bonnet I found this wire anybody know where it goes

Certaily looks like the temperature sender wire for the sender with the round threaded

style connector.

 

Look for a threaded stem sticking out around the head/block area. The length of the

 

wire will give you a clue to its position.
