Hi guys,

First time on here and first time tinkering with a Ford based project tbh.

The question relates to a Fiesta Mk2 based Quantum kit car. It came with a wheezy 1.4 CVH and 5spd (BC) gearbox. I've spent several months fitting an ST170 engine cw bike carbs, megajolt and VVTPRO. This has livened the old girl up and the BC gearbox is working fine, for now. However, it has a very weak self centering action which was present before the engine swap. All gears select fine but you just need to be very careful and deliberate to get the right one. Is this likely to be weak/broken springs in the gearbox itself or are there some in the gearchange?

Thanks in advance,
