Hi all! I’m new to the forum and this is my first post.

Sometime last year my ‘91 1.1 Fiesta got stolen. I was heartbroken. When the police called to say they had recovered it I jumped at the chance to get it back.

To make the car driveable the Police wired a ‘temporary’ ignition switch in to the loom that feeds to the steering column.

Does anybody have any advice on what I need to do to fix this myself? Any advice for removing or fitting wires into the loom connectors? I have already purchased a new barrel and key. The switch is annoying and preventing me from fixing the cowling under steering column.

Thanks in advance!
