hi ppl i hope you can help me guys. im installing an android rear view mirror the thing is that i need to connect the two wires with fuse the yellow one needs continuous power and the red one needs power when you turn up the ignition so when i check the cabin fuse box then i found that there is only one fuse of 10a. by the way comparing the sticker of the fuses and the fuse box there are some fuses that was changed for one with more amperes probably done by the mechanic because i never touch any of the fuse box.

the question is can i change one of those 7.5a fuse with the 10a one that is attached to the wire and if you already know what fuse i could use for the interchange.

is a ford mondeo 1.8td of 1993

If you have a sunroof that is electric that is ignition live.

Other than that, cigar lighter for 12v permanent and radio for switched

little update. i make it working but can't find a fuse that only gives power with ignition on. so is always powered and i think that will drain the battery even in the sleep mode. ive tried the radio fuse but has power all the time then tried the fuse 30 too (Engine control, instruments, auxiliary warning module, clock/trip computer) but it have the same issue power all the time. i'm atually lost i don know where to plug the red wire.

no sunroof here. the permanent will be at cigar lighter thats for sure. but the problem now is the red that need to be running with the ignition live

that is the fuse 21 but is a 40a fuse the one from the mirror is 10a i think it would blowup

Use window circuit, fit 10a fuse in mirror circuit.

well at the end i attached the fuse of the red wire where the fuse of airbag is located(fuse 38). no issues at the moment and everything is working properly.

for future ppl that wants to install something like me the fuses used are (27 cigarette lighter for yellow wire) and (38 airbag for the red wire turns on when ignition)
