Thanks for the help y'all My question is, I have a 2004 Expedition 4*4 with the V8. Right now it's setting on 265-70r17's. I'm wondering can I fit a 37-12.50r17 mud tire on it with out having to modify it?? Again, thank you.

Can't say if they'll fit without lift to provide space in arches but..
Sizes are different as your current have an outer dia of 31,6" and the new ones are 37" hence 8.48% larger and not within legal limit. Certainly will increase total gear range by the same % and most likely spoil mpg and acceleration
Tyre walls will be 37 mm higher so do not expect exact steering response either.
Width is 10.4" vs. 12", so should have 9" rims. Noise will be notably higher also due to the thread pattern.
If available in metric the new tyres would be 318-80r17.
