Hi guys, I am having a problem since I brought this ford mondeo mk4 2007 model, in 2016.
I should mention first, that the left buttons *(the radio ones) on the steering wheel are working fine, but buttons from the right side, it seem to not work.

Well sometimes those are also working but only for a few seconds or pushes,(like 3-4), and when i say sometimes, it depends, 1 time per month.

I am trying everyday to push them to see if is any pattern or something but, without any success.

I tried to clean them with some electric contact cleaner, but also without any success.

What could it be ?
Computer board fault?, buttons are faulty ?, or the entire right side?

Did anyone had this problem?  
What should I do, or try before trying to buy new ones.

Please help me.

Most likely dirt. They can be disassembled and cleaned. It's not an easy job, but it can be done.

I have the same issue on mk5 - anyone know if the same applies? Do you know how it can be done?
