I did loads more today than the last three months

I started the car on the drive, put it into reverse about ten times to un seize the reversing switch, then I actually drove it hahahahaha.

I pulled it forwards, did a three point turn, then another, and then revered back onto the drive.

In true 220 style the ‘miles remaining’ dropped by 2 miles in the 50 metres I drove

How much longer do you reckon before the car is ready ???

No idea

The only thing it needs doing to be ready for an MOT from my ‘original list’ is to adjust the handbrake, but I have loads of other projects I need to finish, and have some other cars to work on first. I’ve also got a few pieces of furniture to make that are more of a priority.

 

The whole of last year was essentially written off due to a death in the family, then me catching Corona virus.

Gave my rusty spots a quick squirt of undercoat to hide the brown bubbles at base of back door

the local dealer gave me a quote for the windscreen side trims and retainers, both sides - only 200 quid, apparently retainers need to be shipped from UK. not too bad.

all i need is get to know someone in there and get some trade discount.
