Has anyone between 2000rpm and 3000rpm vibration/noise??It comes from the left of the driver. It sounds like there would be something not connected properly.I checked the door and board but i don't find nothing.
I have Ford Mondeo Mk5 2.0.diesel 180ps.

Yeah I've got the same, sounds like something flapping/tapping. It drives me mad as I've only had my MK5 for a few months and put 6k on the clock in that time. I've got an auto and notice it at lower speeds when going through that range and higher speeds. I done a test a while back where I coasted in neutral and got revs up and got the same again, but stationary nothing..
I'll be looking around more soon when in can get it on a ramp

Do tell us. I need to know what to tell to our dealer here. In mine, they changed some shock absorber between the engine and the gearbox, but the virbration is still there. :)

Ive had the same thing over the last few weeks at about 2500 revs going up and down the revs. Just took mine to my dealer and he diagnosed as a fuel pipe left hand side about middle of car vibrating despite still being clipped correctly. They have fixed it  and now sound has gone.

Guys, I too have 2.0 auto and feel some very bad vibrations on idling. Sometimes it's there at around 2k rpm also.
Pls share some info if you know. Thanks.

Got it sorted today. Were pipes under the body at the rear passenger foot well. Took 5 mins to fit the clipping.

Hello guys,

I know this is an old post, but I'm currently getting a vibration noise mostly at idle from the rear passenger footwell of my mondeo mk5.   I've had the car on the ramp and couldn't see anything that would cause a vibration, so dropped the left hand tray and found the plastic hose to this red clip moving about a bit.   I've attached a couple of pictures of the clip couple anyone tell me if this is the clip that has been causing others a vibration in this forum if not does anyone have any info of what other clip it could be in this area.

Many thanks for any help in advance

Will
