Can any garage do this? Or does it need to be Ford as they're LED?

Hi st driver.
Any garage can do the adjustment. As said before make sure you have
the LHT selected before you present it at the garage.

Had mine done on Monday with LHT.
Think i'm pretty sure it's now at the same height as the previous RHT setting. Ford Tech just said they were set high and they seemed to understand I knew more about it than they did !
I'm not massively convinced it makes a lot of difference, perhaps a bit.
However, I'm still not happy with the cut off being a bit short. This is especially noticeable if you go into a slight dip in the road - the beam of light directly in front of the driving position seems to just hit darkness maybe 20 to 30m ahead of you and it's a bit disconcerting. (Maybe I need to tweak it up a little lol)
I have a bit of road where you come down a dip and then quickly up to a junction 50 yards ahead. I know the road like the back of my hand but as you hit the dip you cannot see the junction. It's kind of like the opposite of a blind summit if that makes any sense.
What is interesting is that when under acceleration the car nose wants to lift slightly and this improves the beam no end. So ironically I'm tempted to put the foot down to improve the light pattern which in itself is a bit dangerous.
On any slight upward incline the light shines really well though. - which did get me wondering a little about the self-levelling mechanism.
Oh - and another tip - the adaptive lights are really weird in thick fog - I was all over the road and actually felt sick and a bit disorientated with the swinging back and forth of the light. So I'd switch them to normal static beam to prevent this.

sorry - just meant normal. ie instead of lights in auto position - just knock them back to headlights on position.
the adaptive swing thing doesn't work in that mode

Ford Service UK on Twitter have confirmed LHT is correct for UK and RHT continental driving.
Cars built for different countries have different set ups; which we thought with the 'handed' light cluster assemblies!

I take it from all of this that the majority of UK dealerships pay no attention to PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) procedures - or is that another thing of the past?
