Just got around to installing the new Custom made Gear lever gaiter i ordered from Ebay, had it made with blue stitching and blue "S" instead of red so it matches the blue individual seats I'm currently installing

The struts that hold the rear hatch on my S-max had seen better days and now in the winter they were unable to hold the hatch open so I checked with my former colleagues at Ford and were flabbergasted at the price of these.. I do get 20% off and they were still 80£ a pop... I refuse to pay 160£ for two tiny struts! so Ebay to the rescue! 30£ including shipping from UK to Norway YEY!

Popped them on just last night and what a difference, the hatch now raises it self from 1/3 of full open...who would have thought??

Finally got around to painting the brake calipers on is, to keep her happy my missus got to choose the color, she picked either pink or speed yellow, so speed yellow... I refuse to drive around with pink calipers... I still have some dignity left...

I bought special caliper stickers that are heat resistant, and had them custom cut to fit the flat plate on the calipers, i think it came out real nice!

Plopped in the last of the Individual leathers I bought so now all is up and running, with 8 way electrics. only thing remaining is to tap into the canbus signal for the logical power to the memory bit on the driver seat, will sort that out after the vacation, I can still run it but only about 1 cm at the time then i have to let the button go and push it again

Wow it's been some time since I'we had time to update this page, not much had changed up till today, basically all I'we done has been service and I swapped the interior light bulbs for led's.

Seat situation has not changed, but I'm going to look for the wiring harness for a non memory seat and be off with it.

Today I finally got around to installing the Scorpion cat-back exhaust I bought a few weeks ago, loving the sound so far, will do a video of it tomorrow

Due to bad wheather I havent been able to get a propper vid whilest driving the car so that will have to come later but here is a shot with the factory, cracked exhaust

Original exhaust:

and a quick cold start and small revs with the new Scorpion Cat-back:

I can confirm 100% this fits the S-Max as the Mondeo and S-max share the same chassis. Swapping the exhaust was very easy, only thing the kit does not come with is the rubber hangers and the gasket so if you are getting this, buy a new gasket and check that your rubber hangers are ok!

Decided it was time to give up trying to fix the original rims that the previous owner absolutely slaughtered

Other little bits i have been doing is swapping the crappy JL audio aftermarket door speakers the previous owner had stuffed into the door, put in a alpine component kit, turns out the spacers for speakers for the car was too long so the old speakers were sitting on the window rail and pressed up against the door cover, guess thats why there were absolutely no bass in the front, had to make my own spacers from some plywood, good thing it's hidden inside the door, i might paint them one day when i remember:P

Have had these eyebrows laying around waiting for a chance to have them sprayed but i ended up realizing I might aswell just do it myself as the paint on the front is so full of rock chips and scratches it doesn't matter. end result was a little orange skin and a few flakes of dust in the paint but good enough for now!
