With up to 2 year service interval, I'm not sure of when we will need oil changes (on the assumption the DPF regen will still cause some dilution of the oil)

There were quite a few oil sensor / early oil change issues on the MK4.

Anyway - I went into the Vehicle Settings and when I look at "Oil Life" - it appeared blank and just has a message saying hold to reset. Which was surprising, I thought it would say like 99% or whatever.

So i did hold to reset and it is still blank.

Does anyone have the same?

cheers

I would still be inclined to change the oil once a year regardless of the service schedule.

ok thanks Gents !

I really can't be bothered scheduling a trip to a dealer for this either. Unless I have to go in for anything else, I Think I'll just plan to do an oil change coming up to a year old.

A bit off topic but that dashboard is amazing! I would buy the car for that alone lol. I have a mk4.5 11 plate Frozen White 1.6 ecoboost Titanium X and love it.

resurrecting this topic a bit:

my Oil life display is also empty, resetting it didn't change anything

has anyone that had this issue found a fix for it?
