What brand of filters do you guys rely on?
And what oils do you guy use.

Depends on the car, You do get what you pay for though.

 

Cheaper filters are likely to have less filtering material.

I understand that. Hence me asking what brand you guys use.

I don't rate k&n oil or air filters.
Personally I like mann or mahle. Also mercedes use mann as there oem filters...

But what are other people's views on filtration?

I use the motorcraft or FoMoCo filters when possible and the Ford formula F 5w30 oil also Castrol 5w30 oil.

I've just shell helix ford spec 5w30 fully.
5ltrs for £15 from eurocarparts that I thought was a bargain.

That's a cracking price for 20ltr. Now all I need is to get the stripped and round sump plug out. :rolleyes:

I use castrol magnatec 5w30 c3 with heingst oil filter she runs great

fords are like cheese and wine they get better with age :)
