I've successfully soldered 3 actuators, the longest running one I'm aware of is 4 years but I've heard of no problems with all the ones I've done.

Yep. Looks like the design just does not have a good life.
Not the original, not the electronic engineer solder repair, not the eBay 10 year warranty refurbished units

Bad design.
Shame as when it works it's wicked

Arms still freely moving.


When the ECU dosent go into safe mode " randomly" I've got a beast under my right foot.
