I have a mk2 fiesta 957cc,Im trying to get insured on it but no luck...anyway does anyone know how I could install a rev counter ? thanks

have you tried changing the insurance quotes from third party / tpft to fully comp? sometimes cheaper and easier to go fully comp these days...

 

aftermarket rev gauge or oem (dash out xr2?)

 

usually only 4 wires, 

 

Green (on ignition coil for signal)

12v live

Earth

Illumination

full comp i find is alkways cheaper why thats anyone guess but usually is

I fitted a SuperSport cluster with tacho to my Mk1. That dropped straight in with just an extra lead to the LT terminal of the coil.
