Hi everyone

ive just started to restore my 1986 fiesta ghia, the only real work are the front wings as it had been standing for 10 years in a garage.
im after picking brains, has anyone opted to bolted the wings on instead of welding. is it possable as i want to be able to remove the wings from time to time

Mondeo mk3 18lx face lift
ghia x wood trim, black eye headlight, black eye fog lights, zetec alloyscolour coded chrome door handles, crome window stripe, st spoilers rear electric windows, ghia x wing mirrors. heated front seats are next on the list and so much more to come
Streetka totaly standard. just a new rear window
Fiesta mk2 1.1ghia total rebuild from the floor up. lots to do

usually if they're welded on the are spot welded, to remove them entails drilling the spot weld out, usually leaving holes in your inner wings, you'll need to fit bolts every 100mm or so, but myself, i can't see why not, but to be on the safe side, i'd have a word with your mot tester, and see what he says,
