Hi all, I'm new on here!
I have a question about the instrument panel on my mk4 fezza. I want to upgrade it to one with a rev counter, and I think the clocks from a mk6 escort are the same.
The only thing is, how do I drive the tacho? Normal petrol ones drive from the spark signal, but being a diesel there is no spark to drive it conventionally. I know the escort 1.8 td has a tacho, but where does the signal to drive it come from?
Is out possible to do this without hanging myself on the wiring?
