mattp1977, I did this yesterday, and all you need to do is as stated, remove the wheel and wheel arch liner and you will see the motor and you'll be able to remove the motor/rubber bung etc and refit the lines. Bit tight to get back in, but persevere!

There is one bolt for the wheel arch liner which is underneath the car, it's a torx screw and once you get the other clips etc out, it'll be obvious which one it is; no need to remove anything else.

Do take the advice in the sticky and unclip the pipes from underneath the bonnet, so you've got some slack to reinsert them! They puch in real easy, just make sure you get the right pipe (ie front/back) in the right hose, so the right washer works! Check it all before you put it all back together!!!

Hope that helps....

I did this the other day, and took some pictures. I've bunged them in the Wiki for all to see and adore. along with some commentary by a fool. Feel free to modify with better solutions or images. :) :thumb:

Hi all, I have this problem and I have tried to follow Rich's excellent guide from the Wiki except the pics don't seem to be working? Is this just my end or is everyone else getting the same?

Once it's dry take the under panel off and pop your head down beside the drivers wheel and get someone to squirt the washers and you'll see where the water comes from.

No water at all from jets, no puddle under car, also no whining noise from pump. Wash/wipe fuse/circuit breaker and wipers OK. Any ideas?
