In the past few years TalkFord.com and STdriveRS.co.uk have being attending this show in ever increasing in numbers each year, so we will be doing it again on Sunday the 29th of June 2014 where we are hoping for a even bigger and better turn out once again, so here's a bit information about it.

"The 12th Northern Performance Ford Rally" is an excellent display of modern classic and performance vehicles, the show is supported by hundreds of private individuals and Ford clubs turning up on the day, creating a brilliant show atmosphere. There will be concourse competitions and live commentary throughout the day with prizes up for grabs to category runner ups and winners. All of this is situated within beautiful surroundings with a Victorian courtyard only a short walk away hosting gift shops and tea a room.”

“Across in the other open display area you will find "The 13th Japanese Auto and Performance Show" which is an excellent display of modern classic and performance vehicles. This show is again supported by Japanese car clubs with hundreds of private individuals turning up on the day, creating a brilliant show atmosphere. Again there will be concourse competitions and live commentary throughout the day with prizes up for grabs to category runner ups and winners.”

For the second year running there will be a slight change, it's overall name has being changed to "East Midlands Festival of Transport", which now includes Classic Cars & Bikes as well as the normal Ford and Japanese cars on show as in previous years, so like in 2013 it should be even bigger and better with more to see, and even better if for you if you like your bikes as well as your cars.

So there you have it, three/four shows as such side by side for the price of one, with a small Trade/Auto-jumble sale as well. To exhibit your vehicle at this event, all you have to do as such is just turn up on the day in your car and pay the normal admission price on the gate, but why not team up with us and come and show your car on the TalkFord.com/STdriveRS.co.uk display area of the show? If your a lover of both Ford, Japanese, classic cars and bikes, this has to be the show for you, and don't forget there is also a courtyard with shops and bistro with quality catering also on site, running along side a plant and garden centre on site.

Admission Prices are still TBC but in 2013 they where: £7.00 per Adult, £3.00 per Child (7-14yrs), Under 7s Free, so will be around that price again I should think.

Show date and time is: Sunday the 29th of June 2014 from 10am - 4pm (But where looking to get there before this time to set up and bag a nice area on site, more info on this near the event date by mass PT with all those attending).

Event Location: Thoresby Park, Near Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9EP.

If you have any question, please ask, I shall do my best to answer them.

So if you would like to join us or are thinking of attending, why not add your name to the list below.

Pictures from other years can be found from the following links below to give you an idea of what you will be seeing on the day:

Stop The Presses!

I've being talking with Andrew Greenwood who host’s the show and have managed to get us a price reduction this year!

Going on last years entry fee's it was on the day £7.00 each per adult to get in and £3.00 each per child on the gate on the day. How ever this year if you buy your ticket and car pass up front it is only £3.83, which gets 2 adults and 2 child in, which is a nice saving, weather you are on your own on the day or have the family with you.

The ticket prices are worked out at the moment on the ticket price of £3.50 and the current Paypal fee, as gift payment by Paypal will not be accepted, this way it covers you then in the event of a problem/issue arising, not that there should be one. If Paypal change there fee's before payment has being made, then please expect the price to change according.

As per previous years we will be meeting up a little before the shows starts and convoying in, in one group. The tickets and passes will be handed out at the meeting point. I will not be waiting or standing on the gate to hand them out as I myself plan to make the most of the show. If you would like some one to meet you on the gate, please arrange for them to come and collect the tickets and stand pass from me at the meeting point so you can then make your own arrangements with them to collect the tickets from them. Please only buy an advance ticket if you intend to be at the meeting point in good time. The meeting point is a couple of miles from the show, and we shall be leaving the meeting point at 9.15am, so if you can't get there before that time you won't be able to collect an advance ticket or stand pass from me.

You can still buy your tickets at the gate on the day should you prefer to but you will be paying the full price.

The closing date for payment will be the night of Sunday the 15th of June 2014 at 11.59pm. You can pay at any time before the closing date. If you would like to pay for a advance ticket and stand pass please let me know and I shall add you to the payment thread.

So come on guys and girls, it's time to get your name down for this cracking show and meet which is cracking value at only £3.83 for two adults and two children!

Copy and paste is yoru friend, and then just add your name. :L

I'll stick you down as a maybe for the time being. If you change your mind and want to show with us you can swap it over to the attending list at a later date, or like wise if you can't attend for one reason or another you can remove your name as well. :L
